Kings Park Central School District

Last night, the Kings Park Board of Education appointed Dr. Joseph Pesqueira as Principal of William T. Rogers Middle School (WTRMS). Dr. Pesqueira comes to Kings Park from the Riverhead Central School District where he has served as middle school principal for the past two years. Prior to his current job at Riverhead Middle School, Dr. Pesqueira worked as an administrator in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich CSD for six years. Dr. Pesqueira is an executive board member of the Suffolk County Middle Level Principals Association and the Long Island Council for Social Studies (LICSS). Dr. Pesqueira will be transitioning to WTRMS on October 1st. I am also pleased to announce that Mr. Rudy Massimo will serve as Interim Principal at WTRMS until Dr. Pesqueira can officially join our Kings Park Family. Mr. Massimo retired from the Kings Park Central School District in 2022, where he served as Principal of RJO Intermediate School for 20 years. Mr. Massimo knows Kings Park, and he is well suited to assist with this leadership transition.
