Council of Schools' mission is to create an arena of information sharing by connecting the parent organizations and central administration with each other. Our role is to communicate about important social issues facing the families of the Kings Park Central School District.
Kings Park Parent Organization Council (Council of Schools) will promote the following objectives:
1. To promote the welfare of children and youth in the community.
2. To petition adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
3. To bring into closer relation the home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the growth and development of the child.
4. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
The Council will strive to unify and strengthen the individual Parent-Faculty/Parent-Teacher Units comprising this Council by serving as a forum for the discussion of topical issues and acting as a liaison between the individual member Units and the School Board.
Our meetings are open to all. Parents, faculty, and students are encouraged to join us.
Meetings are held at the San Remo Administration Building in the Parent Resource Center - Rear Entrance.
