Excellence in Education

Adult Education

Welcome to the Kings Park Central School District Adult Education Program.

In response to requests from community members, the Kings Park Central School District is very excited to be able to offer these adult education courses. The mission of our program is to offer adult continued learning opportunities that meet the needs and interests of our community.

Our instructors are paid through enrollment fees. Since we rely solely on course fees, it is necessary to maintain minimum registration requirements. Please know that classes not meeting minimum registration requirements may be cancelled. Notifications for class cancellations due to limited registration will be made prior to first class sessions and refunds will be issued. Class registration fees do not include the cost of books, materials, or other supplies unless noted in the description.

The Office of Adult Education is dedicated to helping you continue your informal education and grow academically, personally, and professionally. We provide a service-centered environment designed to help you achieve your continuing education goals.

We are always seeking qualified instructors in new subject areas. If you are an expert on a topic not included in our current brochure, you are invited to apply for a teaching position.  In most cases, there are no specific educational requirements.  All you need is a thorough knowledge of your subject and the ability to communicate your expertise clearly and enthusiastically to other adults.

Dr. Timothy T. Eagen, Superintendent
